MOUNTAIN THYME BAND

Mountain Thyme is a musical group based in Chattanooga, TN and serves the surrounding areas. The group is made up of Luke and Desirae Johnson, a husband and wife team, who have been performing together since 2002. The band can be expanded into a trio by adding our favorite bass player, Joe Lance. Joe is a Chattanooga staple and is a fantastic musician. We can expand again to a quartet by adding a violinist, depending on what the event requires.

We specialize in private and corporate parties, holiday parties, weddings, or any kind of event that requires music. We have all our own sound and lighting equipment to offer a fully mobile, self sufficient group to play any venue, indoors or outdoors.

Mountain Thyme is an acoustic cover band with a depth of musical knowledge that spans many genres and decades. Our sets can range from jazz to bluegrass to country to rock, and everything in between. Clients can customize their set list by choosing songs from our song list or just allow us to design the perfect set for your event.

Acoustic Duo

Luke and Desirae can provide an acoustic guitar and vocal set for your event. This is a small, intimate setting great for events with a slightly smaller budget that still want high quality live music.

Acoustic Trio

This still small, and affordable, option is the same as the acoustic duo, but with the addition of a bass player. This provides more melodic interest and also allows for some guitar soloing. This is a great choice for events with a medium budget.

Acoustic Quartet

To add even more excitement and flavor to your event, we offer the group as a quartet. This incantation is exactly the same as the trio, but with the addition of a violinist. This option is great for events with slightly larger budgets.
