Professional Voice Teacher
My name is Desirae Johnson. I offer voice lessons from the privacy of my home studio in East Ridge, TN. Whether you are a beginner or professional musician, you’ll learn how to apply classical techniques to a variety of genres including pop, rock, jazz, bluegrass, country and more. Depending on your needs, lessons can focus on breath support, proper diction, intonation, ear training and sight reading. Lessons are offered once a week in 30- and 1-hour long increments. Sign up for your first 30-minute lesson for just $25 to discuss your goals and expectations, develop a plan for future lessons and learn a few vocal warm-ups that you can practice at home.
I recently relocated to Chattanooga from Atlanta where I owned a private music school called the West GA Arts Conservatory. At the WGAC, I worked with clients of all ages with varying musical abilities to help them discover their full potential, while taking on an approach that focuses on patience and self-encouragement.
Through my unique and personalized teaching methods, my students are able to develop study habits and effective learning strategies that last. My greatest joy is watching students succeed and unlock their own potential.
In addition to my teaching experience, I have nearly 20 years of professional experience with a background in choral, jazz, bluegrass and pop music.

MEET LUKE
Professional Recording/Mix/Mastering Engineer

My name is Luke Johnson. I have been working as a professional musician, teacher, producer, and recording engineer since 2002. I record, mix, and master audio at my studio in Chattanooga, TN. I also have an entire mobile recording rig to record remotely from any location. For clients with larger budgets and the need, we can also record at any commercial studio in Atlanta or Nashville as I have relationships with many fine commercial studios in those cities. My goal for any project is to help my clients achieve the sound they hear in their head. I work tirelessly for them on every project to make sure their sound is uncompromisingly delivered.
My studio is professionally outfitted with equipment from top brands like Neve, API, Summit Audio, Maag Audio, AKG, Avedis, Antelope Audio, DBX, among many others. I have a large collection of gear and instruments to give your music the radio ready quality you require. My primary DAW is Pro Tools and I have collected a plethora of plugins over the years.
